I hate you poem+ reflection
I hate you; lame jokes
I hate how you don't make sense
I hate how you are so lame
I hate how you are not even funny
I hate how you are chilly
I hate how you are silly.
When you leave from someone's mouth,
When you try to change the mood,
When you try to make people laugh when you can't
It just annoys me
I hate lame jokes.
Every part of me hates you
Everything I do is because I hate you
Everyone hates you
I hate you; lame jokes.
I had trouble of thinking about what to write my hae poem about. However, John was making lame jokes beside me and brought me to the idea of how much I hate them. I began to write why I hated lame jokes and that helped me to carry on the poem. I tried to use the same phrases to being a line in 1 stanza; overall writing this poem was interesting and creative.

Im From Poem
I am from the 5 stars and red,
fromstreet markets.
I am from cheap TVs and clothes,
from fake brand name shoes,
that last longer then the real ones.
I'm from tofu,
that tastes good but tastes funny.
I'm from the crowded,
from the somewhat dirty.
I'm from the busy streets,
that are very noisy.

Poem
There is a water fall,
I went there with Paul,
We were going to jump off and fall,
But we suddenly got a call,
It was from my mom at the mall,
She said we will go to Nepal,
Where we could grow tall,
And live happily ever after.

This article talks about 8 different people who won the lottery but lost "millions". Some of these 8 people are deeper in debt, living on food stamps, or back to their normal lives. One person, Evelyn Adams won the lottery TWICE. She was greedy and wanted to keep her money. She thought gambling could brng her more money and also she would be able to keep her money. She continued to gamble until one day she realized she has no more money. She lost everything and now lives in a trailer. This relates to the theme of the pearl, wealth cant always bring happiness.
